Paitan Molde

Paitan is a Registered Provisional Psychologist (P8972) who provides a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space for clients to heal and grow. Her approach is compassionate yet direct, grounded in the belief that each person is the expert of their own experience.

Prior to private practice, Paitan worked supporting survivors of sexual violence and provided therapeutic services to children in school settings. These experiences shaped her trauma-informed and strengths-based approach to care. She is an EMDR trained therapist, and has training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), trauma-informed care, and specialized support for survivors of sexual violence.

Paitan works with children, adolescents, adults, and couples. She integrates Person-Centered therapy with approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Attachment-Based Therapy. In her couple’s work, she draws from both Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method to help partners strengthen connection, communication, and trust.

Having grown up in competitive sports, volleyball and figure skating, Paitan understands the mental and emotional pressures that athletes face. This perspective informs her work with clients navigating performance anxiety, perfectionism, and the pursuit of balance and self-compassion.

Paitan’s goal is to help clients reconnect with their inner strengths, develop self-trust, and experience meaningful, lasting change..
