Before becoming a Canadian Certified Counsellor, Lyndsey spent ten years as a classroom teacher. Over the past fifteen years, she has worked extensively with children and teens experiencing mental health challenges, neurodivergence, and behavioural concerns.

She has a special interest in supporting parents as they navigate and strengthen their relationships with their children. As a parent of neurodivergent children, Lyndsey brings both professional and lived experience, and is well-versed in practical strategies and supports for families. She also has experience working with children in the foster care system, as well as with Indigenous families, approaching each client with care, respect, and cultural sensitivity.

Lyndsey’s approach to counselling is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. She creates a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to be themselves and explore what’s bringing them in, working at a pace that feels comfortable and manageable.

Her work is grounded in an attachment-focused lens, helping clients better understand themselves, their emotions, and their relationships. Lyndsey is trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and thoughtfully integrates these approaches based on each client’s individual needs.

Lyndsey works with children, teens, adults, and couples, supporting clients through a wide range of concerns with empathy, insight, and practical guidance. She works with diverse relationships and is a proud ally of the LGBTQ+ community.
