Denelle O'Reilly
Denelle is a Registered Psychologist (6662) who provides psychotherapy to children (ages 7+), adolescents, and adults. She has extensive experience supporting individuals across the lifespan in both private practice and school-based settings. Denelle works with clients facing a wide range of emotional, relational, and mental health concerns. Her goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where people feel heard, understood, and supported in their growth.
Denelle takes a collaborative, personalized approach that honours each individual’s unique needs, values, and pace. She draws from a variety of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. With children, she incorporates developmentally appropriate strategies such as play and art to support engagement and self-expression. Denelle is committed to providing respectful, inclusive care that considers each person’s identity, background, and lived experience.
In addition to therapy, Denelle offers comprehensive psychoeducational and ADHD assessments for children ages 6 to 16. These assessments help families gain a deeper understanding of learning styles, attention difficulties, and behavioural patterns that may be affecting a child’s functioning at home, school, or in social environments.
Denelle believes healing begins with courage—the courage to show up, to be vulnerable, and to seek support. Through thoughtful conversations and practical strategies, she helps clients make lasting, meaningful change and reconnect with their strengths and sense of self.
