Cassidy is a Master of Education in Counselling Psychology student at the University of Lethbridge, currently completing her practicum at Refocus You. While she is still a student, she is excited to approach learning with curiosity and dedication, and brings genuine effort to helping clients move forward when they feel stuck.

In therapy with Cassidy, you can expect a down-to-earth demeanour, kindness, openness, and a sense of humour. She values feedback and encourages open conversation about what feels helpful and what doesn’t, so therapy can be shaped around your needs. Believing that each person’s experience is unique, she takes an integrative approach, drawing on techniques from different modalities to best support your goals.

Her background includes providing peer support to university students, working in psychiatric care with diverse populations ranging from young adults to older adults, and engaging with families and the community through her years as a lifeguard. These experiences have shaped her commitment to offering care that is compassionate, practical, and genuine.

Cassidy’s areas of interest include working with adolescents and adults navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, burnout, life transitions, and challenges with emotional regulation. She believes nobody should have to struggle alone and is dedicated to supporting clients in creating meaningful and fulfilling lives.

Outside of therapy, Cassidy enjoys staying active through the gym, soccer, or yoga. She also loves reading, baking, cooking, and winding down with a good TV show. Most importantly, she cherishes quality time with her family and friends.”
