Anmol is pursuing his Master of Counselling at City University of Seattle and is completing his practicum at ReFocus You. As a student therapist, he approaches each session with openness, humility, and a genuine commitment to learning alongside his clients. He believes growth is a shared process and is dedicated to creating an environment where clients feel supported in moving toward their goals.
Clients meeting with Anmol can expect a grounded and approachable presence. He prioritizes collaboration, respect, and cultural awareness, and invites honest conversation about what is working in therapy and what isn’t. By drawing from different therapeutic approaches—including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, and attachment-based practices—he works to adapt sessions to each client’s unique circumstances.
Anmol’s path toward counselling has been shaped by diverse experiences, including academic research, peer mentorship, and community involvement. Growing up in a Punjabi Sikh household in Grande Prairie, he understands the importance of navigating cultural identity and belonging, and this perspective influences his dedication to inclusive and compassionate care.
His interests include working with adolescents and adults who may be facing anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem concerns, or difficulties in relationships and transitions. He believes therapy offers not only strategies for coping, but also the opportunity to foster resilience and deeper self-understanding.
Outside of his practicum, Anmol enjoys staying active through the gym, biking, and many sports while also enjoying winding down with a good book or movie. He also values creativity, quiet reflection, time spent with family and friends as ways to maintain balance and connection.
