Annelise Wilson

Annelise is a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) student at Yorkville University. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Alberta. 

Annelise's passion lies in supporting individuals during the perinatal period, focusing on areas such as perinatal depression, anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). She believes in a versatile approach, drawing from various evidence-based therapeutic modalities including acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy (SFT), narrative therapy, and the Gottman method.

Beyond her academic interests, Annelise's holistic perspective is enriched by her seven years of experience teaching yoga to both adults and children. She understands the profound connection between the mind and body and seeks to incorporate this synergy into her therapeutic sessions with clients.

Annelise is committed to creating a safe and compassionate space for her clients to explore their emotions, develop coping strategies, and achieve personal growth. She is excited to join you on your journey towards mental and emotional well-being.
